  • Corporal Justin Enochs joined the Marine Corps nearly 6 years ago, as a Reservist in Indianapolis. A fews later, he met his wife, Traci, and soon had two children, Hayden Alan (now 3) and Liam Paul-Herbert (now 16 mos). Five weeks premature, Liam was born critically ill, and had to remain in the hospital for the first six weeks of his life. Once he was able to go home, he was on a heart monitor and feeding tube, until the age of 4 months. Now, at 16 months, he is on the right track, but still isn’t fully developed for his age.

Faced with extensive medical bills and just one salary, Traci and Justin have been living with Traci’s parents in Southport, IN for nearly two years. In June of 2009, Justin was called up for deployment. The irony of the military is that with the worry and heartache of deployment, also comes a larger paycheck. As bad as that sounds, those deployed earn more money than those state-side, so Traci and Justin hoped his deployment could help with some of their financial concerns. Currently, Justin is Afghanistan on security detail. He was scheduled to come home last month, but days before he was supposed to leave, they informed him that he had to stay until at least March.

Traci and Justin’s biggest wish is to be able to have their own home when Justin returns, so they can have a place their boys can call home. They are currently taking

steps to either rent or buy, and could use help getting all the items needed to furnish a home. Please help this young couple by donating today!

  • Daniel Langley joined the Air Force in 2007, at the age of 19. After tech school, he was stationed at Moody AFB (Valdosta, GA) where he and his wife, Erin, will remain until at least February 2011. Daniel is part of the 822nd Security Forces, and has been deployed twice from Moody. Both deployments were to Camp Bucca in Iraq, and were approximately 6 months long.Hard to believe, but Daniel and Erin have been close since age 5! They grew up in Columbus, Indiana, attending the same private Christian grade school. They went to different middle schools, but eventually ended up at the same public high school, and discovered they had both had crushes on each other for years. Stay tuned for the full story, but needless to say, Daniel and Erin have been together ever since. With two deployments and other military obligations, Daniel has not seen his family in quite some time, and would like to take his bride on their family trip to a beach in Virginia this June. The couple had decided they wouldn’t be able to afford the trip, primarily because they would also need to board their dog and three cats. Please help us by donating to Daniel and Erin’s boarding expenses of their pets, so this young couple can enjoy a nice break with family!engagement 2

  • Monica, wife of Marine, David Cripe, stationed in Iraq, has been separated from her husband since June, and was pregnant at the time he left. The couple lives in a 132 year-old farm house, and due to financial strains and Monica’s duties as a mother of (now) two, there is very little time and money left over for repairs. The winter is particularly hard on their house, as they are plagued with a leaky roof, drafts through the house, and siding that needs replacing.Cripe
